Michael J. Gatewood is the founder and principal attorney of the firm. His work focuses on business formations, corporate and finance projects, and commercial and civil litigation. Michael’s practice is varied and includes considerable experience with real estate transactions, maritime, probate, banking and finance. Michael received his J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law. Prior to joining Carlsmith Ball, Michael served as a law clerk to the Honorable Judge Michael J. Bordallo, Superior Court of Guam. During law school, Michael served as a Law Clerk in the Superior Court of Guam and as a Legal Intern for the Kansas City Public Defender’s Office.
